Envirowaste Residential Policies
Payment due date. Payment must be received in our office on or before the due date. If a payment is not received by the due date, service will be suspended (placed on hold, no further collections) until payment is received in full. Payments are not received after hours or on weekends.
Curbside requirements. Our routes begin very early, always before daybreak. To guarantee pickup on collection days, trash must be placed at the street the evening before scheduled pickup.
Delinquent accounts. Any account 15 days past due is subject to a $10 late fee and suspension. Services will be terminated if payment is not received within 45 days of due date.
Resuming suspended service. To resume service following a suspension due to an account delinquency customer must pay all delinquent invoices in full. Payments for suspended accounts must be made THREE business days (Saturday and Sunday are not business days) before your next service day. Payments received after hours will not reinstate suspended service for the following day.
NSF, insufficient funds, rejected payment. If a payment is rejected due to insufficient funds, customers accounts will be billed for the NSF fee amount which the bank charges us. To restore your account to good standing, we may request payment via money order or cashier's check for the amount due, plus the $20 returned check fee, within three days.
One household policy. Our rates are established based upon household usages. If we determine service level abuses have occurred, that multiple households are combining their trash, EnviroWaste will immediately terminated that customer account. Any balance on the account will be forfeited. There will be no refund. No exceptions.
Fair usage policy. If a customer opts to use an Envirowaste bin the fair usage fill limit is what can fit in them. If a customer chooses to use a customer-owned bin, can, or bags, the limit is six - 30 gal bags total.
Excess trash policy. We will pick up extra trash exceeds at a rate of $1.00 per additional bag. The excess trash fee(s) will be charged to your account the next billing cycle.
Envirowaste-owned bin responsibility. Customers leasing an Envirowaste bin must accept the responsibility to replace or repair severely damaged or stolen equipment.
Customer-owned receptacles. Envirowaste accepts no responsible for customer-owned bins or other receptacles. If a customer-owned receptacle is damaged in any way while sitting by the street, or by us dumping it, owners waive any claims of responsibility against Envirowaste!
Prohibited items. We do not accept tires, batteries, wet paint, or any other hazardous materials. Items deemed to be hazardous will not be picked up, as it is the owner's responsibility to discard safely.
Yard waste. Due to landfill regulations, we do not accept landscape waste.
Holiday schedules. The holiday pickup schedule will run one day late after the holiday through the remainder of that week.* (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas) *ONLY IF THE HOLIDAY IS ON A WEEKDAY. Holidays on Saturday or Sunday DO NOT affect our pick-up schedule.
