Envirowaste Dumpster Policies
Payment due date. Payment must be received in our office on or before the due date. If a payment is not received by the due date, service will be suspended (placed on hold, no further collections) until payment is received in full.
Delinquent accounts. Any account 15 days past due is subject to a $10 late fee and suspension. Services will be terminated if payment is not received within 30 days of due date.
Resuming suspended service. To resume service following a suspension due to an account delinquency, customers must pay all delinquent invoices in full.
NSF, insufficient funds, rejected payment. If a payment is rejected due to insufficient funds, customers' accounts will be billed for the NSF fee amount which the bank charges us. To restore your account to good standing, we may request payment via money order or cashier's check for the amount due, plus the $20 returned check fee, within three days.
Cancelled services. There is no refund of services paid in advance for cancelled or terminated services for any reason.
Accessibility requirements. Our routes begin very early, always before daybreak. To guarantee pickup on collection days, the dumpster must be accessible the evening before scheduled pickup. If weather conditions make your driveway impassible, it is your responsibility to have it clear before we arrive. There will be no return for blocked dumpsters or inaccessible driveways.
Property damage waiver. Envirowaste accepts no responsibility for damage to customers' properties. By paying for service, customers’ automatically authorize Envirowaste access to the dumpster through their property. If properties are damaged in any way while our trucks are on authorized ground, any claims of responsibility against Envirowaste are waived!
Fair usage policy. The fair usage fill limit for any dumpster is what can reasonably fit in it (lid closed). Over-filled dumpsters will be subject to a one time fee ($10-$30).
Envirowaste-owned bin responsibility. Customers leasing an Envirowaste bin must accept the responsibility to replace or repair severely damaged or stolen equipment.
Prohibited items. We do not accept tires, batteries, wet paint, or any other hazardous materials. Items deemed to be hazardous will not be picked up, as it is the owner's responsibility to discard safely.
Other prohibited items include but are not limited to masonry (concrete chunks, asphalt, sand, blocks, bricks, tile etc.).
Construction debris. We require construction debris to be kept to a minimum (building material, 2 by’s, plywood, shingles, carpet, pallets, pipe, etc.). All lumber must be one foot long or less. Dumpsters containing any of these items will be subject to a one time fee ($10-$30). Repeat occurrences will automatically up-charge the bill rate to reflect the abuse of service.
Yard waste. Due to landfill regulations, we do not accept landscape waste, (sticks/branches, small trees/shrubs (including Christmas trees), dirt, stones, mulch, leaves, etc.).
Holiday schedule. The holiday pickup schedule will run one day late after these holidays through the remainder of that week.* (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas) *ONLY IF THE HOLIDAY IS ON A WEEKDAY. Holidays on Saturday or Sunday DO NOT affect our pick-up schedule.
